WhatsApp panic over sharing of account info with Facebook

Flood of messages, asking me to go to WhatsApp settings, accounts and uncheck the box that says I am sharing my WhatsApp account information (which means phone number) with Facebook.

Even without Facebook and WhatsApp, my (and possibly yours too) phone number is already with many random strangers, especially in call centres, if one goes by the unsolicited messages and phone calls we get.

Social networking sites and e-commerce sites already have tapped a lot of our personal information.

So, why panic and uncheck that box?

Is anything disastrous going to happen?

Video Interview

Hello!
Summer is drawing close to an end. I know I go back to work on Wednesday and I can't believe how fast it went. I didn't accomplish as much as I would have liked, but I feel like I say that every year. A few weeks ago I mentioned how I was doing a character interview with Kris Hack. Well today my video is released and you all can see my awkward rambling. At first I thought it had to be a mythical creature, but then I heard it was any character I had to talk about one of my favorite types of, sarcastic/witty character. I might be bias considering my sense of humor is pretty dry, but I enjoy reading and writing sarcastic/witty characters.

You can see my interview on her website. First you have to sign up HERE to see all 11 interviews. All it is, is your email and name, you aren't put on a spam list or anything. Once you sign up that's it. If you already have done so you can see the interviews HERE. I can't promise when you watch my video that you won't see one of my dogs or not. I honestly can't remember if they chose that time to take a nap or not. I talk about different characters in all of my stories including to End of the Line 2, Off the Beaten Path. However, I will warn you I do tend to talk with my hands a lot, can I blame that on being a teacher?
Care to guess who I'm talking about ;)

On other hand I got Mistakes #4 back from my editor Jenn. I have been going through it in parts. My boyfriend and I are in the house hunting so that has kept me pretty occupied the past few weeks. However, I haven't been talking about the edits as much or advertising because I started to second guess my title and I feel funny saying I have a story being released in about a weekish without stating the title. With starting my thesis class this month, working, and house stuff it might slow my writing down a bit more down than usual, plus put me on a tight budget so the fifth installment might take me a bit to write I am warning everything.

Since Mistakes #4 is being released within the next couple of weeks I put the first couple on sale so that everyone can get caught up!

Review of After All by Mia Josephs

Hello!
I am here posting the review for Mia Josephs' After All. It's a New Adult novel. I read this while I was on my trip. After a year of only reading for work and school I was excited to get back to reading for fun. This was one of the books on my kindle that I got to catch up on. Needless to say it was a long list. This book helped get back into the grove a little and I can not wait to read more by this author.

A fresh start. That's what this move was suppose to be about. Ashley is a law student doing an internship for the summer which looks good on paper, but unsettling as she thinks about the friend that she has lost. Her focus was to help people and to finish her degree. Things take a turn for a new direction when she meets Brandt, a man in his thirties with two teenage children. He keeps telling himself that he is too old for her, but as she lives next door it makes it hard to escape her.

If you enjoy Jolene Perry or other Mia Josephs works, you will not be disappointed. There are sweet moments, witty comments, true emotions that make these characters seem real. It will give you the warm and fuzzies that you need. However there are some dark moments and sexual situations so if you do not like either this is not your read. I would recommend this book to readers though.

PS in a few days you will be able to see my interview video and a new video everyday! There are eleven authors talking about angels, ghosts, protectors, athletes, and witty characters. Sign up to see them: Click Here

Review of Louise by Diana Nixon

Hello!
So this was one of the first books that I read while I was away in July. I knew I would not get to read as much on the cruise, but I figured that I would take advantage of the time to read all the books that I said that I would review, but didn't get a chance to. I did that for a couple of books then some just for myself. Here are just a few pictures before I get to the review! After so many pictures of being forced into I was ready to throw my sister's camera.

Part of the Berlin Wall

Still in Berlin, Jewish Monument

Parts of the Berlin Wall

My mom and I in front of the Little Mermaid (Denmark)

Church in Finland

Part of Catherine the Great's Palace (Russia)

Peter the Great's Palace

Split Blood in Russia
The Vasa in Sweden

Old Church in Estonia

Estonia (Church)
Now for the review...

**Not suitable for those under 18***
3.5
Louise grew up hunger, cold, and alone in an orphanage where she had to work or she would be in big trouble. Just when she thinks she is free at eighteen she finds out the orphanage was a starting point, when she is sold to a dance club until she can work off debt. She is learning on who she can and can't trust, all the while learning a whole set of new rules. Her first night she is to do a private dance for a masked man. All it took was that one dance that spirals into a secret connection as she tries to figure out not only who he is, but who she is.

I have enjoyed several of Diana Nixon's books. She also usually has some pretty amazing covers. Diana's writing is easy going, and draws in her readers. I just had a few issues with the main leading man. He just seemed a little too everywhere, and all knowing. There was just one other thing that I cannot put my finger on that bothered me about him. Then she was so trusting of someone who would not reveal themselves for most of the book.

Dog Treats

Hello,
Shhh we won't tell Ryan ;)
I still have to post some pictures from my cruise and a couple of reviews of books that I read while I
was away. I will probably do one of those this weekend so keep your eyes out. I am sure though that you are looking at the title and wondering why is a book blog talking about dog treats. I will get to that. I will admit it that I am a bit of a crazy furry mom. When I started dating my boyfriend Ryan again (we dated back after high school, but remained friends for years) I joked that his dog Lily was my part time dog. PS we are going to not tell him about this picture of us from his step-brother's wedding in April on here. ;)

Lily is a mutt by definition, I can begin to describe what kind of dog she is other than she is a princess. For awhile it was just the two of them and then the evil step mother came into the picture and she had to share her father's attention. Now, I am sure that some of you are really starting to worry about my sanity after that statement, but she loves him more than anyone else.

The day we got Leo, I call it "What is this and
are we keeping it?"
I call her my silly Lily. Look at those ears, who wouldn't think she was adorable? Spoiled rotten though she will still try to wiggle herself between Ryan and I. A little before she turned one we got my brat Leo. Because Ryan was going to move out and Lily has always been around other dogs and i've always had a dog in my life and missed it. So March 2015 he and I went to the pound and picked up this little five pound furry baby who was weak. We found out a little later he was kind of skin, but he soon became my baby and he acts like it. Lily took a month really realize that he was not going anywhere and she was stuck with him. It took her a little bit for her to learn to share the attention, but they are dogs they will never fully learn that. Once he got big enough to play with and not just drag around by his collar they play pretty well. I swear though, Lily gives me this look at times of 'Why did you bring this thing into my life?'. However, when they go missing they are cuddling together. Then other times Leo pulls her curly tail to get her to play with him.

Like I said, that look doesn't fool me. Lily is actually allergic to some dog food. Her skin will turn red and she loses chunks of it so we had to play around for a little bit until we found a dog food that was good for her. It took us a little bit to get her skin and fur all healthy again. I usually spoil them when we go out at petsmart, they actually know the store by name and love going. When Ryan and I cook we usually research can dogs eat something. We've looked up potatoes, onion, and a few other things.

Leo, my cool dude :)

Now, who doesn't have a dog that doesn't have awful breath? I get them the sticks to help with their teeth. I've found a few things on pinterest for dog breath mints. I didn't think anything about it because I've made Lily homemade dog treats before and she loved them. Leo just sees the jar of peanut butter and his eyes bug out. I made this dog mints for them. Leo was fine, but poor Lily she got sick. She threw up and everything. The poor thing curled up with me on the couch for the rest of the night until she felt better.

Ryan asked what was in the mints. I told him oats, an egg, and a few other things which included freshly chopped parsley and mint. Apparently parsley even a fresh ones are not good for dogs. It can cause dehydration, throwing up, and a few other things for most dogs. Mind you before you all start yelling at me, I used less than half a cup which was less than what the recipe asked for and I gave her a square that was half an inch. I felt horrible the whole night as she and I cuddled all night. She's my cuddle buddy in the winter. I just wanted to warn all of you dog lovers, despite all those recipes using parsley do not do it! I felt stupid about it since I normally look before give them anything. However learn from me!
